Submission method: sealed envelope deposited in the greater tzaneen municipality bid box at the civic centre, agatha street. Envelope must be marked with bid NO: scmu 26/2026, the bidder's postal address and contact details. Documents must be complete with all attachments; late, incomplete, unsigned, faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Returnable documents required with the bid: - proof of purchase of the tender document (receipt for r2 000, including downloaded documents). - Completed schedule a&b for the transformer (section 4.1 Of the bid document). - Completed schedule a&b for the neutral earthing compensator with neutral earthing resistor and auxiliary transformer (necrt) (section 4.2 Of the bid document). - Original tender guarantee from a registered south african bank for a minimum of r3 000 000, on bank letterhead, signed by authorised representatives, payable on demand, based on the sample form in the tender documents. - Company registration certificate (cipc). - Certified ID copies of all directors. - Latest csd registration summary report. - Tax compliance status pin or certificate. - Municipal rates and taxes statements for company and directors (not older than 3 months) or alternative proof of residence (affidavit, lease agreement with 3 months' proof of payment, pto, or traditional authority letter). - Joint venture agreement signed by all parties (if applicable). - Proof of CIDB grading 7ep or higher. - Proof of registration as an electrical contractor with the department of labour. - Audited annual financial statements for the last three years, signed by a registered auditor/accountant with practice number. - Appointment letters, completion certificates, and stamped reference letters for relevant project experience. - Key personnel qualifications and cvs. - Proof of plant and equipment ownership or access. Compulsory briefing session attendance is mandatory.
