Supply and delivery of a professional training course titled 'Leading Innovation in the 2026-27 Public Service' for one Senior Management Service (SMS) member from the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment.

• The closing date is 20 July 2026 at 11:00. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Your submission must include:

• A formal quotation on your official company letterhead.
• Completed and signed SBD documents (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1).
• Your Central Supplier Database (CSD) report.
• VAT per item (where applicable), your CSD (MAAA) number, and accurate banking details.

• Do not deliver any goods or services before receiving an official purchase order or formal appointment letter from the Department.

Must be tax compliant (verified via CSD/SARS PIN). Must not be listed on National Treasury's Database of restricted suppliers. Must not be a person in the service of the state or company with directors in state service. Foreign suppliers must answer questionnaire; if no RSA presence/tax liability, no SARS PIN required. Non-compliance with mandatory SBDs or tax status leads to disqualification. Submission of fraudulent information leads to disqualification.

• Scope: Supply and delivery of a professional training course titled 'Leading Innovation in the 2026-27 Public Service' for one SMS member from the Department.
• The course must cover seven modules, including public governance, strategic leadership, design thinking, digital governance, data-driven policy, stakeholder engagement, and building a culture of learning.
• Training must be conducted face-to-face over a maximum of 10 days.
• The venue must be in Gauteng and include parking for officials.
• The service provider must include the cost of the venue and catering (breakfast, lunch with one soft drink, and afternoon tea) in their quotation.
• The attending official will bring their own laptop.
• The service provider is responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and meals.
• The training date is to be confirmed.

• Bidders will be disqualified for submitting fraudulent information regarding experience, B-BBEE credentials, or other claims.
• False declarations on Standard Bidding Documents will lead to disqualification.

• The training course must cover the seven specified modules in detail.
• The content must be delivered face-to-face over a maximum of 10 days.
• The service provider is responsible for all aspects of training delivery, including venue and catering.

• Your quotation must be a firm price, valid for 90 days from the closing date.
• All prices must be inclusive of 15% VAT (for VAT vendors).
• The total quoted price must include all delivery costs, venue, catering, and all applicable taxes (PAYE, income tax, UIF, skills development levies).
• Provide a detailed breakdown showing the unit price, quantity, total amount excluding VAT, VAT amount, and grand total.

• You must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide your CSD number (MAAA).
• You must be tax compliant. Provide your SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or a TCS certificate. If only registered on the CSD, provide your CSD number.
• For B-BBEE preference points, submit a SANAS/CIPC-accredited B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and a CIPC Ownership Certificate if applicable.
• Submit a completed SBD 6.1 form to claim specific goal points.
• Ensure you are not listed on the National Treasury's Database of Restricted Suppliers.
• No person in the service of the state may bid.

• The successful bidder will be required to sign a written contract (SBD7).
• The Department reserves the right to extend the 90-day bid validity period by written notice.
• Any supplier not responding in writing to such an extension will not be considered after the initial validity expires.
• The Department is not obliged to accept the lowest price and may negotiate with the recommended service provider.
• The Department may cancel orders and restrict suppliers who fail to deliver within agreed timelines.
• All information submitted must be truthful. Fraudulent claims can lead to disqualification, contract cancellation, recovery of costs, restriction from public sector business for up to 10 years, and criminal prosecution.
