Evaluation Criteria
Source: SBD 4 and 6.1.pdfEvaluation uses the 80/20 or 90/10 Preferential Procurement system. Points are allocated as follows: Price (80 points), B-BBEE Status Level (18 points), Specific Goals (2 points for >50% Black ownership). Total: 100 points. The applicable system (80/20 or 90/10) will be determined by the lowest/highest acceptable tender. Points for price are calculated using the formula: Ps = 80(1−(Pt−Pmin)/Pmin) or Ps = 90(1−(Pt−Pmin)/Pmin). B-BBEE points are awarded based on the contributor level (Level 1: 18, Level 2: 14, ..., Non-compliant: 0).
Compliance Requirements

Proof of B-BBEE status and ownership must be submitted.
