Must submit a valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN/CSD report and CIPC registration documents. Must provide a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs). Must provide at least two client reference letters for similar work from the past 5 years. Must have a minimum of one registered Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI) with ECSA approval. Must have a valid Letter of Good Standing (COIDA) or Mutual Association policy. Must have a CIDB grading of 2ME or higher OR 2SI or higher (or proof of application). Must provide proof of a local footprint in the Western Cape (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement).

• Scope: Biannual maintenance, repair, load testing, inspection, and certification of hoist and lifting equipment at ATNS Cape Town International Airport (FACT) Control Tower for five years.
• Tasks include inspecting equipment, load testing, checking wire ropes, chains, hooks, brakes, limit switches, gearboxes, motors, electrical components, and structural integrity.
• Provide service reports, load test certificates, and recommendations.
• Spare parts must be quoted separately and approved by ATNS; OEM-approved or equivalent replacements required.
• Deliveries within 7 working days after purchase order, except emergencies.
• Delivery address: ATNS Control Complex, Gate F3, Tower Road (Off Michigan Street), Airport Industria, Matroosfontein, Cape Town International Airport.
• Maintain a consistent, qualified core team; provide all materials, labour, tools, and transport.
• Prices must be inclusive of all costs and VAT; valid for 60 days.
• Equipment includes various hoists, chain blocks, lever hoists, winches, crawl beams, and lifting baskets listed in the equipment schedule.

• Maintenance and repair must be performed with high professionalism and competency.
• All work must comply with relevant standards, OHS Act, and other legislation.
• Personnel must possess necessary skills, experience, and qualifications.
• ATNS reserves right to inspect personnel performance and request replacement if unsatisfactory.
• Contractor must provide suitably qualified personnel for bi-annual maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure personnel comply with OHS regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
• Quoted labour rates must include all applicable costs.
• Supplier must create and submit OHS safety file where required.
• Develop a risk-based five-year rolling plan for servicing and maintenance.
• Service, maintain, inspect, and repair three hoist and lifting equipment units at FACT as per equipment schedule.

• Pricing must be fair and reasonable; budget amounts are guides only.
• All costs must be included in pricing schedule; bids without price are non-responsive.
