Submit bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Bid Number, Bid Description, and Closing Date. Place the envelope in the tender box at the Mbombela Civic Centre, 1 Nel Street, Mbombela, 1200. Bids must be submitted on the official forms provided (do not re-type). Late, faxed, or emailed bids will not be accepted. All entries must be in non-erasable black ink; erasures, masking fluid, or pencil are prohibited.

The tender follows an 80/20 preference point system (80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals). Bids not complying with mandatory requirements will be deemed non-responsive. The municipality reserves the right to cancel the tender or reject any bid.

Provision of food parcel procurement, packaging, and logistical delivery services for emergency disaster relief and food security initiatives within the City of Mbombela. Deliverables must be completed within 5 days of appointment and contract signing. Failure to meet delivery timelines incurs penalties of 5% of the total bid price per day.

Prices must be in ZAR, firm, and inclusive of all disbursements and VAT. VAT must be recorded as a lump sum in the tender summary.

Mandatory documents: Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN, CSD full registration report (not older than 30 days), proof of company registration, certified ID copies of directors (not older than 3 months), and current municipal rates and taxes statements (or proof of residence/lease agreement with landlord's rates) for both the business and all directors. Bidders with municipal arrears exceeding three months will be disqualified.

Closing date: 21 May 2026 at 11:00. No briefing session will be conducted.
