Tenderer must not be from a sanctioned country; cannot submit multiple tenders except on E-tendering system; JV/consortium must have joint and several liability agreement; no conflict of interest; tender must be signed by authorized person; not restricted by National Treasury, Eskom, or on Tender Defaulters list; cannot subcontract 100% of scope; must meet eligibility criteria or be disqualified.
Supply of motors to various peaking power stations for 5 years. Scope and deliverables detailed in Attachment 3 (Scope of Work) and Attachment 1 (NEC3 Supply Contract). Technical returnables: List of Tender Returnables (Cat 3 Rev 7), Form A (Cat 3 Rev 9), Supplier Quality Management Specification, Quality Control Plan/Inspection Test Plan (QCP/ITP Rev 2), CQP Template 2021, Method Statement template. Mandatory: ISO 9001 accreditation. Cataloguing may be required post-award (include line item in Pricing Schedule if applicable).
Payment terms: 30 days for contracts ≤ R50M (incl. VAT); 60 days for contracts > R50M (incl. VAT). Pricing must be submitted in PDF + Excel. Unconditional discounts considered for evaluation; conditional discounts applied at payment. Prices evaluated on Net Present Value (NPV) basis. Pricing Schedule must align with NEC3 Supply Contract. Cataloguing costs (if applicable) must be quoted separately and will be paid by Eskom.
Mandatory: CSD registration (CSD number/report). Additional requirements: Tax Clearance Certificate (local/foreign with SA footprint); COIDA certificate (SA tenderers only); Employment Equity compliance (SA designated employers); CIDB grading (if applicable, within 21 working days of closing); Valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (for PPPFA scoring); Financial statements (latest approved, including director’s/auditor’s reports, statements of financial position, income, equity, cash flows, notes); Public Interest Score (non-audited SA entities); ITA34C (non-audited SA entities). JV/consortium: valid agreement with joint/several liability, single designated bank account. Subcontracting with subsidiaries must be declared. Safety/Quality: OHS Legal Acknowledgement Form (Annexure B), Annexure C3 (Tender Evaluation Template).
Closing date: 09 July 2026 at 10h00. Non-compulsory clarification meeting: 09 June 2026 at 13h00 via Microsoft Teams (link: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/363881696614513?p=EK09XdnDtHqWX5pRrQ).
