Submit the SBD4 form (Bidder’s Declaration of Interest). All declarations must be true and complete. Bids will be disqualified if declarations are false, incomplete, or misleading. Disqualification applies if: the bidder, directors, trustees, shareholders, or controlling persons are employed by the state (unless disclosed); the bidder or connected persons have a relationship with employees of the Technology Innovation Agency; the bidder is listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters or the List of Restricted Suppliers; or the bidder fails to comply with transparency, accountability, impartiality, and ethical principles as per South African legislation. Joint ventures or consortia are permitted, and internal communications within such partnerships are not considered collusive.

Preference points are awarded for: 50%+ owned by Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (5 points), 51%+ owned by Black Women (5 points), at least one owner has a disability (5 points), or at least one owner is a youth (5 points).
