Submission Guidelines
Source: General-Conditions-of-Contract (1) (1).pdfReturnable Documents: All documents specified in the Special Conditions of Contract (SCC) must be submitted. Bidders must ensure all copies of purchaser-provided documents are returned upon contract completion if required. Submissions must be in writing (handwritten, electronic, or mechanical).
Financial Requirements
Source: General-Conditions-of-Contract (1) (1).pdfPricing must adhere to quoted bid prices unless adjusted per SCC or purchaser request. Prices for incidental services (e.g., training, maintenance) must be agreed in advance and not exceed prevailing rates. Payment will be in Rand unless otherwise stipulated in SCC. Invoices must be accompanied by a delivery note and submitted promptly; payments will be made within 30 days of invoice submission. Performance security (e.g., bank guarantee, cashier’s cheque) of the amount specified in SCC must be furnished within 30 days of contract award and will be discharged 30 days after contract completion, including warranty obligations.

No contract will be concluded with bidders whose tax matters are not in order. Local content and imported content must comply with definitions in GCC Clause 1.16 and 1.17. Suppliers must indemnify the purchaser against third-party claims of patent, trademark, or industrial design infringement (GCC Clause 6.1).
