Deposit in the bid box at Polokwane Municipality Civic Centre, corner Bodenstein and Landdros Mare Street, Polokwane, by 10:00 on 10 March 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids must be completed in black ink (pencil is disqualifying). All pages must be initialed and signed. Bid documents must be downloaded from www.etenders.gov.za. Bids remain valid for 90 days after closing. Disqualification risks: missing pages, pencil use, late submission, influence attempts, past poor performance, state employees or conflicts of interest, bid defaulter listing, or supply chain abuse.
Evaluation Criteria

Responsiveness criteria include: sealed envelope with bid number/description, timely submission to the bid box, valid CSD number, fully completed and initialed bid forms, Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable), proof of municipal rates/taxes payment or tribal authority letter/lease agreement, compliance with technical specifications, adherence to pricing instructions, financial ability to execute the contract, and demonstrated experience with similar work. Non-compliance with any peremptory requirement results in disqualification.

Proof of municipal rates/taxes payment or valid lease agreement/tribal authority letter must be attached. No bids accepted from persons in the service of the state, bid defaulters, or those listed on National Treasury’s prohibited database. Bidder must declare past supply chain management practices (MBD8) and submit a Certificate of Independent Determination (MBD9). Compliance with Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Regulations (2022) is required.
