Brand South Africa invites experienced service providers to submit quotations for an online AI training course for its employees. The training aims to transform Personal Assistants (PAs) into strategic business partners by mastering AI tools to reduce administrative burdens, improve efficiency, and anticipate executive needs through data-driven insights. The course must be accredited (NQF certificate issued upon completion) and cover modules such as Advanced Prompt Engineering, Process Automation, Data Synthesis, AI Governance, No-Code Automation, and Ethical AI Protocols.

Scope: Online training course to transform Personal Assistants (PAs) into strategic business partners using AI tools. Course must cover: Advanced Prompt Engineering (create/test/refine complex prompts for high-quality content), Advanced Process Automation (use generative AI like Microsoft 365 Copilot or Gemini for task automation, drafting, scheduling), Data Synthesis & Reporting (analyze data, summarize reports, build actionable executive summaries), Strategic Time Management (proactive planning, workflow optimization), AI Governance & Ethics (privacy, confidentiality, responsible usage), No-Code AI Automation (tools like Zapier/Make for workflow automation), AI for Data Analysis & Insights (analyze/interpret/visualize data), Manage AI Agents for Scheduling & Travel (AI-powered assistants), Ethical AI & Data Privacy Protocols (safety, confidentiality, ethical guidelines for Generative AI), AI for Strategic Research (synthesize information, create summaries, identify insights). Deliverables: Online course, duration to be proposed by service provider, for 5 delegates. Accredited NQF certificate must be issued to attendees upon completion.

Payment is contingent on milestone/deliverable completion as per the project implementation plan agreed at inception. Brand SA undertakes to pay valid claims in full within 30 days of invoice submission. The successful bidder will work under Brand SA supervision and must comply with its Code of Conduct and organizational guidelines.

Service providers must be experienced and reputable. Mandatory: SETA/QCTO accreditation for AI training and facilitator with 3+ years of technical/professional AI project experience. Course must align with the specified scope, including modules on AI tools, automation, ethics, and data analysis.

Mandatory: Valid SETA or QCTO accreditation for AI training (expired accreditations disqualify). Facilitator CV must prove 3+ years of AI project experience. Submit: SARS Tax Clearance Certificate, National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) Report, completed SBD forms (including SBD 6.1 for Specific Goals), and signed POPIA compliance form. B-BBEE: Points claimed for Specific Goals require CSD report as proof; no proof = zero points. Bidders listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers are automatically disqualified.

Brand SA reserves the right to: extend the closing date under exceptional circumstances, make changes to the RFQ (communicated to respondents), reject any or all proposals, not appoint a bidder, and cancel the award if fraud/corruption is detected. All submissions are treated confidentially and will not be returned. Bidders are responsible for their own costs. Contracts may be terminated if claims are fraudulent or conditions are unfulfilled, with potential restrictions from public sector business for up to 10 years.

Proposals are evaluated under Brand SA’s Supply Chain Management policy using the 80/20 preference points system (PPPFA Regulations). Mandatory pass/fail criteria: SETA/QCTO accreditation for AI training (valid only) and facilitator CV with 3+ years of AI project experience. Scoring: Price (80 points, detailed breakdown required) and Specific Goals (20 points, SBD 6.1 form + CSD report mandatory; no submission = zero points). Total: 100 points.
