• Scope: Manage cargo for DFFE and affiliated science groups for the SA Agulhas II vessel, which resupplies Antarctic and sub-Antarctic research stations.
• Activities include clearing export cargo (equipment, supplies, fuel) prior to departure and import cargo (waste, old equipment) upon return.
• The DFFE manages loading/off-loading for all cargoes; cargo lists will be provided beforehand.
• Operational norm: 2-3 days for loading, 1-2 days for off-loading, but DFFE reserves the right to adjust days as needed.
• Provide stevedores (foreman, forklift drivers, gangway man, labourers), forklift with 4-tonne capacity and specific fork dimensions, tally clerk, and site supervisor.
