Supply and support of veritas netbackup infrastructure for stats SA (36-Month contract)

Supply and configure Veritas NetBackup infrastructure and provide support for a period of 36 months to Statistics South Africa.

• Scope: Supply and configure Veritas NetBackup infrastructure and support for 36 months. - Year 1 deliverables: Supply and configure 60TB Veritas NetBackup software license (increasing existing to 255TB), 2 x 206TB capacity for NetBackup Veritas appliance 5270, 1 x 72TB for NetBackup Veritas appliance 5270, maintenance and support for NetBackup management reporting/alerting tool, and maintenance/support for NetBackup software (255TB license) and appliances (2 x 206TB, 1 x 72TB). - Years 2–3 deliverables: Maintenance and support for all Year 1 items (management tool, software license, and appliances). - Goods must conform to standards specified in the bidding documents. - Supplier premises may be inspected at reasonable hours for compliance verification. - Non-compliant supplies/services may be rejected at the supplier’s cost and risk.

• Mandatory registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with full detail report submitted. - Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or PIN required; submit via e-filing or printed copy. - For consortia/joint ventures, each party must submit separate TCS/PIN/CSD proof. - If no TCS is available but registered on CSD, provide CSD number. - B-BBEE: Submit certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to substantiate ownership claims (Black, Woman, Youth, Disabled). - Required documents: CIPC registration (certified, <6 months), certified ID copies of owners/directors (<6 months), medical certificate (for disability), SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), and board resolution authorizing signatory. - Disqualification risks: Fraudulent/inaccurate information, unfair advantage, or non-compliance with mandatory requirements. - Bidders listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers are automatically disqualified.
