• Submit a soft‑copy of the quotation by email to [email protected] no later than 13 February 2026 14:00 CAT.
• Include all mandatory documents:
• Completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, 3, 4, 6.1) signed by an authorised signatory.
• Proof of registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Current Tax Clearance Certificate and PIN.
• Minimum two (02) reference letters on the client’s business letterhead, signed, stating scope, description of supplied science apparatus and contact details of the referee.
• Valid B‑BBEE certificate (minimum Level 1) – must be current at time of award.
• All documents must be attached to the email; no hard‑copy submission is required.
• The quotation must remain valid for 60 days from the submission date (tax and B‑BBEE certificates must remain valid at award).
• Failure to provide any of the above will result in disqualification; missing items may be remedied within 7 days if the bid is otherwise acceptable.

Stage 1 – Administrative Requirements (must be met to proceed): CSD registration, completed SBD forms, tax clearance, B‑BBEE certificate.

Stage 2 – Mandatory Requirements: submission of the two reference letters as described.

Stage 3 – Price and Specific Goals:

• Price component carries 80 % of the total score (bid price as submitted).
• Preference points for ATNS specific goals carry 20 % (assessment of B‑BBEE compliance, local content, etc.).
• Total possible points = 100. Bids must qualify in each stage to be considered.
• The 80/20 preference point system applies to RFQs up to R50 million.

Supply and deliver complete science apparatus kits to Delft High School, Cape Town (Western Cape). Required items include:

• Physical Science Kit Grade 10‑12 (3 kits) containing force board, Boyle’s Law apparatus, Burette, pipettes, retort stand, balance, safety goggles, etc.
• Additional laboratory equipment listed in the annex (e.g., beakers, flasks, glassware, chemicals, safety equipment, microscopes, kits for biology, chemistry, physics).
• Quantities are specified per item in the annex (e.g., 1 x Force Board, 2 x AAA batteries, 3 x Physical Science Kits, numerous glassware pieces, chemicals, safety gear, etc.).
• All items must be new, functional and delivered ready for use in the school laboratories.

Provide a price schedule listing each item with unit price and total price as shown in the annex. The overall bid price will be evaluated (80 % weighting). No bond, guarantee or advance payment is mentioned. Quotation must remain valid for 60 days; tax and B‑BBEE certificates must be current at award.
