Ancient Earth Resorts’ recorded contracting footprint is minimal: a single award dated October 2026 from the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency, classified under administrative and support activities in the Eastern Cape. The portfolio shows no other buyers, sectors, or provinces, so the pattern is one of nascent, single-source engagement rather than diversified activity. The one recorded value is ZAR 1, signalling a likely symbolic or initial appointment.
The tender evidence centres on RFP-01/26/27, seeking a private partner to commercialise the Cape Morgan Conference and Hotel Facility under a 15–30 year concession. Bidders must pass compliance screening, score at least 70/100 in technical evaluation (with operational experience worth 50 points, where 10+ years gains maximum marks), and present a financial return to ECPTA plus capital investment commitments. The weighting strongly favours established hospitality operators with deep balance sheets. For a company with one recorded award, competing here demands proven operational track records and substantial funding documentation, making partnership with an experienced co-bidder the realistic pathway.
