DIOPOINT has recorded 26 public-sector awards between February 2023 and October 2026, totalling approximately ZAR 82.1 million, with a pronounced acceleration in 2026 (11 awards). The portfolio is heavily concentrated in General Services (18 awards) and computer equipment supply (5), with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research as the dominant buyer (7 awards), followed by the National Nuclear Regulator (3). Activity spans national and Gauteng-based tenders, with meaningful Western Cape municipal work, indicating a broad but science-and-technology-focused public client base.
The linked tender analysis, particularly NNRSCM-02-2026 for Dell laptop supply to the National Nuclear Regulator, reveals a demanding procurement environment: strict administrative compliance (SBD forms, CSD registration, SARS tax status, B-BBEE certification), an 80/20 price-to-specific-goals evaluation, and fixed ZAR pricing valid for 120 days. Bidders must be OEM-accredited, submit sealed originals with electronic copies, and match pricing schedules exactly to declaration forms. This suggests DIOPOINT's success depends on meticulous returnable documentation and competitive pricing, with partnership opportunities for consortia requiring signed agreements and separate compliance proof from each member.
