Provision of testimonials/references and client contact details (including Eskom) for previous similar work. Authorised sign-off by CEO/Director/Managing Director on the acknowledgment form.

Scope: Main contractor/supplier must ensure compliance with Eskom’s OHS requirements for the duration of the contract. Key Deliverables: Demonstrate process and selection criteria for appointing contractors/suppliers. Notify Eskom prior to appointing any contractors/suppliers. Ensure contractors/suppliers have adequate resources and competencies. Manage contractors/suppliers to ensure compliance with legal and Eskom OHS requirements. Conduct OHS audits and assessments of contractors/suppliers during work execution. Provide grounds for termination of non-compliant contractors/suppliers. Address all non-conformances/non-compliance by contractors/suppliers directly. Eskom may request copies of testimonials/references and client contact details for verification.

Mandatory Compliance: Suppliers/contractors must understand and comply with the following: SHE specification/requirements provided by Eskom. Contract and Contractor OHS Management (Document 32-726). Eskom Vehicle Safety Specification (Document 32-345). Eskom’s SHEQ Policy (Document 32-727). Eskom’s Life Saving Rules (Document 240-62196227). Occupational Health and Safety Incident Management Procedure (Document 32-95). Occupational Health and Safety Act. Compensation for Occupational Diseases and Illnesses Act. Post-Award Requirements: Fully align company processes with Eskom’s OHS policies, procedures, and standards. Penalties: Enforced on the main supplier for non-conformance to Eskom and/or statutory OHS requirements. Additional: All employees (including contractors/suppliers) must undergo relevant Eskom induction.
