Quote must be laid out per the provided pricing table with items A-J:
A: Shop drawings, final site measurements, and all costs associated with site visits by Project Lead/Account Manager for sample and signoffs, installation and preparation meetings.
B: Fabrication of exhibition platforms including structural framing, curved edges, trap doors, internal shelves, seating, and recessed sand-pit, complete per drawings and specifications (all platforms Zones A-E).
C: Supply and application of full-colour digitally printed self-adhesive vinyl with heavy-duty non-slip floor-grade laminate for all curved platform edges (Zones A-E).
D: Integrated Upholstered Seating with 3 Replacement Covers (3 foam seats with covers and 3 replacement covers).
E: Kinetic Sand for recessed sandpit (1kg bags, 15 bags).
F: Transportation and delivery to Iziko South African Museum, including safe packaging, transport, delivery, handling (all platforms Zones A-E).
G: Installation on site, including all fixings, assembly, levelling, dust protection, OHS compliance, protection of existing finishes, snagging and commissioning (all platforms Zones A-E).

Price is evaluated under 80/20 preference point system (80 points for price).
Bidders must be tax compliant (CSD report and TCS PIN).
Central Supplier Database (CSD): Must be registered with active and compliant tax status; submit full, current CSD report (not older than publication date) with MAAA number.
Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN: Valid SARS TCS PIN and Income Tax Reference Number.
B-BBEE: Valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit to determine status level; specific goals points claimed based on black ownership (20 points for ≥50%, 10 for <50%, 0 for 0%).
SBD 6.1: Preference Points Claim Form completed and signed.
SBD 4: Bidder's Disclosure completed and signed.
Signed RFQ and signed Annexure A (page 009) confirming review of drawings and inclusion of all costs.
Annexure B: Completed Occupational Health and Safety document.
Failure to submit proof for specific goals means points not claimed.
Iziko may require substantiation of preference claims at any time.
Fraudulent claims may lead to disqualification, recovery of costs, contract cancellation, restriction from doing business with state for up to 10 years, and criminal prosecution.
All works must be undertaken during Iziko's regulated working hours (08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday); work outside these hours requires prior written approval.
Supplier must comply with all applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and adhere to Iziko's health, safety, security, and site regulations.
Bidder will be requested to provide OHS documentation if successful (Annexure B).
Implement dust protection and dust control measures throughout installation to protect museum environment, collections, and adjacent spaces.
Protect existing museum finishes and flooring during installation.
Provide a Health and Safety File (item J in pricing schedule).
Ensure completed installation is level, secure, and stable.
The proposal and appended documentation form the basis for a formal contract to be negotiated and concluded between Iziko and the preferred service provider.
A mere offer and acceptance does not constitute a formal contract.
Quotations must be valid for a minimum of 60 days from closing date.
Iziko is not obliged to award the quotation to any bidder and may retract the RFQ at any time or reduce deliverables.
The lowest or only quotation will not necessarily be accepted.
Iziko reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to withdraw its decision.
Bidders must declare no conflict of interest and confirm no association with other tendering entities.
False declarations may lead to cancellation of contract and legal action.
Iziko may consider risk of fruitless/wasteful expenditure, abnormally low bids, material irregularities, litigation with Iziko, and poor past performance in award decisions.

Bidders listed on Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers will be automatically disqualified.

Must declare any interest in other related enterprises, and list all CSD-registered active companies linked to directors; failure to disclose leads to disqualification.

Suspicious bids will be reported to Competition Commission and may be restricted from doing business with the state for up to 10 years.
Consent to use personal information per POPI Act; failure to provide information may result in disqualification.

Any alterations to tender document other than filling in tenderer's details and price will automatically disqualify.
