Evaluation Stages:

Stage 1: Test for Responsiveness (compliance with tender conditions and completeness).

Electrician: CV with relevant experience (5+ years = 10 points, 3-5 years = 5 points, <3 years = 0 points) and Trade Test Certificate (15 points for valid certificate, 0 otherwise).

Stage 4: Price and Preference (80/20 system for bids ≤ R50M):

Price: Maximum 80 points (formula: Ps = 80(1 - (Pt - Pmin)/Pmin)).

Evaluation is based on compliance with the following: Contractor must be a legally registered entity in South Africa. Must comply with B-BBEE requirements as per Part C3, Section 4.1.2. Personnel must have valid certifications (airside inductions, security awareness, vehicle permits). Contractor must be registered with the Compensation Fund for occupational injuries. Scope: Preventative and corrective maintenance of all Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units and UPS batteries, including battery replacement and spare parts, for 12 months at Cape Town International Airport (all ACSA-owned buildings). Deliverables: Daily WR callouts, monthly checks and work orders, compliance reports, weekly and monthly reporting, inspections of UPS units (including remote and substation units), unplanned maintenance, repairs to defects, upgrades, refurbishment, and installations.
