Submit sealed, properly packaged bid documents in the tender box at Ground Floor (left/right side of entrance before security desk), Metrobus Main Building, No. 1 Raikes Road, Braamfontein, Johannesburg by 11 June 2026 at 11H00 (Metrobus clock). Late, faxed, or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bid box is open 24/7.

Requirements:

• Use official forms (do not re-type).
• Submit at least 2 hard copies (1 original + 1 copy) + soft copy (USB/disk labeled with company name and tender number).
• All alterations must be initialed/signed by authorized signatory.

Disqualification risks:

Scoring formula for price (80 points):

Ps = 80

• (Pmin / Pt), where Ps = points for bid under consideration, Pt = bid price, Pmin = lowest acceptable bid price.

Scope: Supply and delivery of new tow trucks including full maintenance and service plan for 36 months on an as-and-when-required basis to Metrobus.

Pricing:

• Submit total bid price (incl. VAT) in both numeric and written form on MBD1.
• Pricing must align with scope of work; failure to do so may disqualify the bid.
• In case of discrepancies, the amount on MBD1 (in words) supersedes all other prices.

Payment terms and guarantees:

• Bid validity period: 120 days from closing date (or longer if requested by Metrobus).
• For tenders exceeding R10 million: Submit audited financial statements for the past 3 years (or since establishment if <3 years old).
