Ekurhuleni Water Care Company (ERWAT) Tenders & RFQ's

- Bids must be hand-delivered to bid box 1 at erwat head office, hartebeestfontein office park, bapsfontein road, r25, norkem park. - Bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly stating the bid number (ERW2603/01) and description on the cover. - Electronic and faxed bids are not acceptable. - Erwat does not take responsibility for bids not placed in the correct tender box. - If using a courier, instruct them to announce the delivery of bid/tender documents upon arrival. - Bids received after the closing time (12h00 on 13th august 2026) will not be accepted. - Bids must be submitted on the original bid documentation provided by erwat, with all necessary information and compulsory documents included. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Submission channel: hardcopy on the original erwat bid document, deposited in the tender box at erwat head office, hartebeestfontein office park, r25 bapsfontein road, norkem park, by 12:00 noon on the closing date. Electronic copy: an identical pdf of the complete tender must be emailed to [email protected] By the closing date and time; the subject line must state the tender reference number and bidder name. This is encouraged but not mandatory, and failure to submit IT will not disqualify. If hardcopy and electronic versions differ, the hardcopy is the official, legally binding submission. Returnable forms (all must be completed, signed and submitted): - mbd 1 (invitation to bid / general declaration): bidder details and declaration. - Mbd 3.2 (Pricing schedule, non-firm prices): rates-based pricing. - Mbd 4 (declaration of interest): discloses any connection to state employees or the procuring institution. - Mbd 5 (declaration for procurement above r10 million): required as the tender value exceeds r10 million. - Mbd 6.1 (Preference points claim): claims b-bbee and specific goal points under the preferential procurement regulations 2022. - Mbd 8 (declaration of bidder's past supply chain management practices). - Mbd 9 (certificate of independent bid determination): certifies NO collusion or price disclosure. - Proof of csd registration (csd number compulsory). - Valid SARS tax compliance pin or printed tcs certificate. - Updated municipal rates and taxes account (not older than three months) for the company and all directors; lease agreement with saps affidavit if premises are leased; tribal authority letter if on traditional land. - For joint ventures, consortia, trusts or partnerships: valid tax clearance/pin for each party and a signed teaming agreement. Disqualification risks: - late bids, or bids placed in the wrong tender box, are rejected. - Bids not on the official forms, or with pages removed, or copies instead of originals (all signatures must be original). - Incomplete or unsigned pricing schedule, or alterations without initialling. - Use of correction fluid, erasable ink or pencil; documents must be completed in ink. - Failure to attend the compulsory briefing session, or the bidder's name not on the attendance register. - Failure to submit all required documents. - Municipal rates or service charges in arrears for more than three months (unless proof of payment arrangement is attached). - Bidder or any director listed on the register of bid defaulters, or in the service of the state. - Falsified documents or attempts to influence evaluation. - Failure to achieve the minimum functionality score (where applicable).
