Supply, delivery, and installation of gearboxes and accessories for erwat water care works (36-Month contract)

The tender involves the appointment of service provider(s) to supply, deliver, and install gearboxes and accessories at ERWAT Water Care Works on an ‘as and when required’ basis for a period of 36 months. Specifications are approved by the Bid Specification Committee under Paragraph 27 of ERWAT’s Supply Chain Management Policy.

Submit bids as follows:

• Use only the original bid documentation provided by ERWAT. Include all requested information.
• Hand-deliver bids to BID BOX 1 at ERWAT Head Office, Hartebeestfontein Office Park, Bapsfontein Road, R25, Norkem Park.
• Bids must be in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the bid number (ERW2505/03) and description.
• Electronic or faxed bids are not accepted.
• Couriers must announce upon arrival that they are delivering bid/tender documents.
• Late submissions (after 12h00 on 4th August 2026) will not be accepted.
• ERWAT is not responsible for bids placed in incorrect tender boxes.
• Failure to submit all compulsory documents may result in disqualification.

• Bids must be hand-delivered to BID BOX 1 at ERWAT Head Office, Hartebeestfontein Office Park, Bapsfontein Road, R25, Norkem Park.

Scope of work:

• Supply, deliver, and install gearboxes and accessories at ERWAT Water Care Works.
• Services required on an ‘as and when’ basis.
• Contract duration: 36 months.
• Specifications approved by the Bid Specification Committee in terms of Paragraph 27 of ERWAT’s Supply Chain Management Policy.

• Bidders must submit all necessary compulsory documents with their bid. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
• CIDB grading: 8ME or higher required.
• Mandatory attendance at the compulsory briefing session. Non-attendance will disqualify the bidder.

• ERWAT reserves the right to accept any bid or part thereof.
• ERWAT is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid.
• Bids not suitably endorsed or comprehensively completed may not be considered.
• Bids must be submitted on original documentation provided by ERWAT.
• ERWAT does not take responsibility for tender documents not placed in the correct tender boxes.
