No tampering of samples from collection to laboratory. Pick-up of samples on any working day (morning/afternoon), with 1 working day advance notice. Samples supplied as un-purified PCR products. Quality check of every sample before and after purification. Automatic re-run of failed sequences at no extra cost. Guaranteed sequence read length: 900-1000bp. Consultancy service for all DNA sequences produced. Collection at ARC-OVI laboratory only.

Prices must be quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), inclusive of VAT, delivery, insurance, and taxes. No price adjustments or amendments to delivery particulars will be considered. Quotations must indicate validity period. Payment terms: goods/services supplied upon receipt of a purchase order from ARC. ARC reserves the right to benchmark prices.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include CSD registration number and full CSD report with the bid. Completed and signed SBD forms are mandatory. Bidders must declare any conflicts of interest (e.g., state employment, relationships with procuring institution officials, or interests in related enterprises). Bidders listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers will be disqualified. Compliance with National Treasury General Conditions of Contract and ARC Supply Chain Management Code of Conduct is required. Fraudulent claims may result in disqualification, cost recovery, contract cancellation, or criminal prosecution.

B-BBEE requirements: Points for specific goals (20 points total) include HDI ownership (51%+: 6 points), Women ownership (51%+: 4 points), Youth ownership (51%+: 4 points), Persons with Disabilities ownership (51%+: 2 points), B-BBEE Level 1-4 (2 points), and SMME promotion (2 points). Failure to submit proof forfeits points. Organ of state may require substantiation of claims at any time.
