Security personnel must have PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C) and SAPS firearm competency certificates (not older than 5 years) if using firearms. Minimum 257 firearms must be registered in company name. Performing Animal Protection Act (PAPAA) licenses required for Gauteng and Northwest provinces for animal handling services.
Contractual Terms
Source: ANNEXURE G SCHEDULE OF REQUIREMENTS.pdfContract duration: Twelve (12) months. Contract number: TRIM/2026/06/1447/7536/RFP. Service Provider must utilise and maintain Hardware and Software during contract; Transnet remains owner. Service Provider liable for maintenance, repair, replacement of Hardware/Software at own cost to ensure good working order. Service Provider carries all risks during Contract Period; risk passes to Transnet upon ownership transfer. Service Provider must supply latest Software versions. Ownership vests in Transnet immediately upon contract expiry; no further payments or residual amounts payable. Performance review meetings monthly as required by Transnet's Contract Manager, adhering to KPI Matrix. Notices: deemed received by email upon confirmation of receipt, by hand delivery immediately. Confidentiality Agreement required: Service Provider personnel must keep Transnet Confidential Information confidential and return all Transnet property upon assignment termination.
