The Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture requires the supply and delivery of animal feed (poultry, piggery and cattle) in 40kg bags to multiple delivery points across six local municipalities in the Amathole District. The contract covers specified quantities of broiler, layer, pig and ruminant feeds, with delivery within 21 days of order. Bidders must submit firm prices inclusive of all taxes, and the tender is evaluated on an 80/20 preference point system where 20 points are allocated for specific goals such as black, women, youth and disability ownership. The most critical consideration is that all returnable forms must be completed, signed and witnessed in black ink, and all supporting documentation must be attached to qualify for preference points.
