4.1. Diagnosing faults on mobile devices (hardware and software).
4.2. Performing repairs, including but not limited to:

4.2.2. Battery replacements.
4.2.3. Charging port repairs.
4.2.4. Speaker, microphone, and camera repairs.
4.2.5. Software restoration and firmware updates.
4.3. Collection and delivery logistics.
4.4. Supply of chargers
4.5. Warranty expectations for repaired devices.
5. CONTRACT DURATION
The term contract will run for 24-month from the date of the last signature of the SLA,
with services rendered on an ad-hoc, as-needed basis.
6. PROJECT OUTPUT AND OUTCOMES
The service provider must deliver the following for each device:
6.1. Diagnostic report outlining work performed
6.2. Warranty on parts and service (minimum 3 months preferred)
6.3. Data integrity assurance or documentation if data loss is unavoidable
6.3.1. Proof of Original or Certified Replacement Parts Used.
6.3.2. Deploy technicians onsite when required.
7. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RFQ
7.1. The service provider must be registered with South African Mobile Devices
Distributors and Repairers Association (SAMDDRA) accreditation for mobile
computing devices repair level 1-5 (MCDR01-05)
7.1.1. The bidder must provide a company profile demonstrating its ability to perform screen
replacements, battery replacements, water/moisture damage restoration, and
motherboard-level diagnostics.
7.2. The service provider will be required to sign a Data Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
Agreement (NDA) prior to commencement of services.
7.3. Provide references from at least 2 clients/customers where/whose cell phones were
repaired.
8. SITE VISIT (NON-MANDATORY)
Service providers can come and inspect the devices before the closing of the RFQ

10. MISA’S RIGHTS
10.1. MISA reserves the right to cancel this solicitation in whole or in part, at its
sole discretion, at any time before the Agreement is fully executed,
10.2. This Request for Quotation does not commit MISA to award an Agreement,
to pay any costs incurred by bidders in the preparation of their quotations
submitted in response to this Bid, or to procure or contract for services,
10.3. MISA reserves the right to conduct vetting and verify the validity of all
certificates,
10.4. MISA will reject any quotation as non-responsive that does not provide
evidence of the specified mandatory requirements. MISA may or may not
request additional information and clarification during the evaluation and
selection process from any or all bidders regarding their quotations,
10.5. Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) reserves the right to request
the company’s latest audited financial statement to ascertain financial stability
of the bidder prior to the award of the bid,
10.6. MISA reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all documents requested.
11. PAYMENTS
11.1. MISA does not pay any amount in advance. Only original signed invoices must
be submitted for payments. The appointed service will be paid within 30 days
after receipt of valid invoice, when the services have been fully rendered to the
satisfaction of MISA, and this done by means of electronic transfer directly into
the bidder’s bank account.
11.2.
12. COMMUNICATION WITH MISA OFFICIALS
12.1. Bidders and their representatives may not communicate with MISA officials
except in writing and if the communication is made public. Bidders and their
representatives must communicate in the manner set forth in this RFQ. There
shall be no communication with MISA officials except as may be reasonably
necessary to carry out the procedures specified in this RFQ. Nothing herein
prohibits bidders and their representatives from making oral statements or
presentations in public to one or more MISA officials during a public meeting.
13. CONFIDENTIALITY
13.1. All responses to this RFP become property of MISA and will be kept
confidential until a recommendation for award of a contract has been
announced. Thereafter, submittals are subject to public inspection and
disclosure in accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation.
14. QUESTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR CLARIFICATIONS
14.1. Bidders must carefully examine the bid documents and in the event of doubt
of anything contained in the documents.
