Submit bids in a sealed envelope to the PRASA Tender Drop Off Office, 3 Old Marine Drive, Cape Town. Bids must be submitted on the official forms provided. Late bids will not be accepted. Do not include documents relating to other quotations. Any additional conditions must be in an accompanying letter.

Evaluation follows a two-stage process: Stage 1 (Mandatory Requirements) and Stage 2 (Price and Specific Goals). Stage 1A: Mandatory (Price schedule, accreditation proof). Stage 1B: Other Mandatory (Registration, SARS Pin, CSD, ID copies, Bank proof, previous experience, CVs). Stage 1C: Scoring (B-BBEE). Stage 2: 80/20 preference point system (80 for Price, 20 for Specific Goals: Level 2 B-BBEE contributor and EME 51% Black Owned).

Provision of Snake Awareness and Handling Training for approximately 20 PRASA Rail employees. Scope includes: classroom theory and practical training (identification, biology, handling, myths, first aid). Provider must supply all training materials, tools, and PPE. Deliverables include: training facilitation, competency assessments, issuance of certificates, and a comprehensive post-course report.

Prices must be quoted in South African Rand on a fixed price basis, inclusive of all taxes. Use the provided Pricing Schedule (Section 10) strictly. Include cost breakdown and price escalation basis. Payment terms are 30 days from receipt of a correct tax invoice.

Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Must provide a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) Pin. Facilitator must hold accreditation from a relevant professional body (e.g., HPCSA, FGASA, SAIOSH). Must provide proof of previous similar training experience (two signed reference letters).
