Submit a sealed envelope with the completed Tender Document (including Form of Offer and Acceptance) and all required supporting documentation. Deposit into Tender Box 205 at the Tender & Quotation Box Office, 2nd Floor (Concourse Level), Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town, before 10h00 on 30 June 2026. If the box is full or the tender is too large, follow alternative instructions from the public counter (Tender Distribution Office). Late, faxed, emailed, telephonic, or telegraphic submissions will not be accepted. Tenders must use the issued documentation; printed Schedules of Rates may be submitted only if they match the Employer’s electronic format (layout, scheduled items, units, and quantities).

CIDB contractor grading requirements: 1SH or higher for works valued above R0 up to R500,000; 3SH or higher for works valued above R1,000,000 up to R3,000,000. Tenderers must be registered on the City of Cape Town’s Supplier Databases (or register upon written request if awarded). Compliance with Preferential Procurement Regulations and the City of Cape Town’s SCM Policy is mandatory. Tenderers must meet HDI (Historically Disadvantaged Individuals) and/or RDP (Reconstruction and Development Programme) specific goals as outlined in the SCM Policy. Evaluation will follow the Standard Conditions of Tender (CIDB) and the Employer’s SCM Policy.
