Evaluation occurs in four phases:

3. Technical Compliance: 24-month all-inclusive warranty, comprehensive maintenance during warranty, established service facility with qualified technicians, and 24-hour response time.

4. Price and Specific Goals: 80/20 scoring system (80 points for price, 20 for specific goals). Specific goals include:

• Enterprise located in Limpopo (5 points)
• SMME status (10 points)
• Woman-owned (5 points)

• Bidders must be tax compliant (valid SARS PIN/CSD registration).

Scope: Supply, deliver, commission, and maintain a bi-plane imaging system for an interventional cardiology/catheterization laboratory in Limpopo Department of Health for 36 months.

Key deliverables:

• Outright purchase of new, unused, latest-model equipment with recent design improvements.
• 24-month all-inclusive warranty with comprehensive maintenance during warranty period.
• Post-warranty comprehensive maintenance for the remaining contract duration.
• Guarantee parts and accessories availability for the maintenance period.
• Undertake ceiling and floor reinforcement for equipment installation.
• Provide on-site assembly, commissioning, training, and detailed operations/maintenance manuals.

Quality and compliance:

• Goods must conform to standards specified in bidding documents.
• Supplier must allow inspections of premises/records by the department or its representatives.
• Pre-bidding testing costs are the bidder’s responsibility.
• Non-compliant supplies may be rejected, with the supplier bearing removal/replacement costs.
• Supplier must indemnify the purchaser against third-party claims for patent/trademark infringement.

Pricing guidelines:
