The evaluation follows a 4-phase process: 1) SCM Compliance, 2) Mandatory Requirements, 3) Technical Compliance, and 4) Price and Specific Goals (80/20 preference point system).

Supply and delivery of one (1) portable zero air generator for the Irene Lab Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station. Specifications include: Regenerative heatless dew point indicator (lifetime > 5 years), long-life scrubbers for SO2, NO, NO2, O3, H2S, and NH3, high-performance CO/Hydrocarbon scrubber, and automatic water drain. The unit must be in a rugged travelling hard case with wheels and a handle.

Payment terms are 30 days from receipt of invoice. SAWS reserves the right to request audited financial statements to verify financial stability. Bids must be market-related.

Mandatory requirements include: CSD registration, valid tax compliance (SARS PIN), signed SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure), written letter for ongoing support/servicing, OEM authorization letter, and proof of at least 3 years of experience with two contactable reference letters. B-BBEE status requires a certificate or sworn affidavit for points.
