The tender follows a three-phase evaluation process: Phase 1 (SCM compliance), Phase 2 (Technical compliance), and Phase 3 (Price and Specific Goals). The 80/20 preference point system applies, where 80 points are for price and 20 points for specific goals. Failure to meet technical specifications or submit required SCM documentation will result in disqualification.

Supply and delivery of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) (Teflon) bottles with caps: 25 units of 250ml, 25 units of 500ml, and 5 units of 1000ml. Delivery must be made to the SAWS Cape Town office at 2nd floor, Oval Business Park, Freight Road, Cape Town International Airport, 7525.

Pricing must be submitted using the provided Pricing Schedule (Annexure G). Delivery costs must be included in the bid price. Payments are settled within 30 days of invoice receipt. SAWS reserves the right to request audited financial statements to verify financial stability.

Mandatory requirements include: CSD registration (provide MAAA number), valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN, completed SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure), and completed SBD 6.1 (if claiming preference points). B-BBEE status must be supported by a valid certificate or sworn affidavit. Joint ventures must provide a signed teaming agreement.
