The eastern cape department of public works and infrastructure invites bids for civil and structural professional services for the refurbishment, repairs, and maintenance of the barkly east service centre. The contract will be based on the CIDB professional services contract (third edition 2009), and the 80/20 preferential procurement system will apply. The successful bidder must provide a professional indemnity undertaking within 21 days of appointment. Bids are due by 11:00 on 25 september 2025 at the provided address.
Only tenderers registered on the CSD with suitable experience and qualified personnel may bid.
A director must be a registered Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist with ECSA and submit a valid letter of good standing plus proof of CSD registration.
Bidders must submit at least three references for similar completed projects (use forms E and F), with one being a written reference, and the contract is based on the CIDB Professional Services Contract (Third Edition, 2009).
The successful tenderer must provide an approved Professional Indemnity insurance undertaking for the project within 21 days of appointment.
