Bids must be deposited in the bid box at the finance (SCM) offices, 10 murchison street, harding, 4680, before the closing date and time. Telegraphic, telefax, or faxed bids will not be considered. Late bids will not be accepted. All tenders must remain valid for 120 days after the closing date. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a service level agreement with the municipality. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 02 september 2026 at 11:00; failure to attend will invalidate the bid. Bid documents are obtainable from 24 august to 01 september 2026 between 08:00 and 15:30 at the finance (SCM) offices at a non-refundable cost of r250. Documents can also be downloaded from www.umuziwabantu.gov.za And etenders.gov.za. Documents will not be sold on the briefing day. Returnable forms (all must be completed, signed, and submitted): mbd 1 (invitation to bid), mbd 2 (tax clearance requirement), mbd 4 (declaration of interest), mbd 6.1 (Preference points claim), mbd 8 (declaration of bidder's supply chain practices), mbd 9 (certificate of independent bid determination). Additional mandatory documents: company profile, b-bbee certificate (sanas-accredited or sworn affidavit for emes/qses), company registration (cipc) and documents, power of attorney or letter of authority to sign, confirmation of residential or business address, SARS registration and valid SARS pin, proof of csd registration, VAT registration certificate (if applicable), cv and ID copies, signed joint venture agreement (if applicable), current and completed projects with contactable references and values, proposal with methodology and approach, municipal rates and service charges statements (not in arrears for more than 90 days) or valid lease agreement, affidavit if account under parents/siblings/grandparents, marriage certificate if account under spouse. Invalid or non-submission of any of these will render the bid disqualified.
