The establishment of an enabling agreement for the inspection and treatment of wooden poles on an “as and when” required basis in the central east cluster (kwa-zulu natal and free state operating units) for a period of three years.

The establishment of an enabling agreement with a maximum panel of 30 contractors for the provision of supervision, labour, equipment, material (except the “big five” material: meters, poles/cross arms, transformers, cable & conductor), transport (as IT will be required and authorised) for electrification of low value new household and infills connections (below r3 000 000,00 per project) for a period of two (2) years and a further six (6) months for the close out of projects, for the distribution division in the kwazulu-natal operating unit, central east cluster on an as and when required.

An enabling agreement to establish contracts , with eleven (11) service providers ( one (1) service provider per area), for the provision of lpu meter reading services, spu check reading, disconnections, reconnections and meter change outs for the various areas in kwa-zulu natal (kokstad sector, margate sector, pmb sector, ladysmith sector, newcastle sector, pongola sector, empangeni sector, stanger sector) and free state operating units (central free state, northern free state, eastern free state), central east cluster (on an as when required basis) for a period of thirty-six (36) months

The establishment of an enabling agreement with a maximum panel of 40 contractors for the provision of supervision, labour, equipment, material (except the “big five” material which include meters, poles/cross arms, transformers, cable and conductor), transport (as IT will be required and authorised) for electrification of new household connections (above r3 000 000,00 per project) for a period of thirty (30) months (twenty-four (24) months for allocation of task orders and six (6) months for the close-out of projects and finalisation of the payment process) for distribution division in the KZN operating unit, central east cluster as and when required.

The appointment of the panel of eleven (11) service providers based on the standardized rates, for the provision of meter reading services within limlanga cluster – limpopo on “as and when” required basis for a period of 60 months

The provision of auditing and capturing of data within the prepaid meter environment (electrification areas). This includes key revision note (krn) and the calibration testing of meters, identifying illegal connections and remedial action thereof for the central east cluster (kwa-zulu natal operating unit and free state operating unit) for a period of 36 months.
