Phase 1 – Eligibility Criteria:

• Site Supervisor must be a Qualified Electrician/Linesman with valid ORHVS certification and minimum 5 years relevant experience. Submit ID, qualification, CV, and valid ORHVS certificate. Failure to meet this disqualifies the tender.
• Bidder must be registered with the Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL) as an Electrical Contractor. Registration must remain valid throughout the contract. Submit valid proof.

Phase 2 – Functionality:

• Minimum score of 90 out of 120 points required to proceed to Phase 3.

Phase 3 – Price, B-BBEE Status and Specific Goals:

• 80 points for price, 20 points for B-BBEE status and specific goals.
• Evaluated per Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act Regulations 2022 and George Municipality's Supply Chain Management and Preferential Procurement Policies.

• Scope: Appointment of contractors for execution of capital projects, as and when required, from date of appointment until 30 June 2029.

• CIDB registration required. Estimated CIDB contractor grading designation of 2EP/3EP/4EP or higher. Tender within your threshold.
• Tax compliance: Submit a TCS PIN with the tender document.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD): Successful bidder must register on CSD.
• B-BBEE: Evaluation includes B-BBEE status and specific goals (20 points in Phase 3).
• Department of Employment and Labour registration as an Electrical Contractor is mandatory.

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 2EP/3EP/4EP or higher required. Tender within your threshold.
