Submit the RFQ by email to [email protected] before the closing time. Late proposals will not be accepted. Changes made to the RFQ template or its terms after closing will not be considered. The following must be submitted: a completed and signed SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure), a completed SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) with a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit if claiming points, a completed pricing schedule or official quotation, a datasheet for the product quoted, and a CSD Summary Report. Failure to provide mandatory requirements may lead to disqualification.

Proposals are evaluated by Supply Chain Management for administrative compliance, functionality, price, and B-BBEE. The 80/20 preference point system applies: 80 points for price and 20 points for B-BBEE status. The contract is awarded to the bidder scoring the highest points. If all bids received exceed R 1 000 000.00, the request is automatically cancelled. Bidders must be tax compliant, verified via CSD or a valid tax compliance status PIN. Bidders on the Register for Tender Defaulters or the List of Restricted Suppliers are disqualified.

Supply and delivery of waste storage containers and consumables for storing radioactive waste generated from the NMD HVAC project. Items and quantities:

• Jumbo Bulk Bin – Solid – 1000 kg: 1200 (L) x 1000 (W) x 750 (H) mm, made from virgin UV-resistant HDPE, 4-way forklift entry, stackable 4 high. Quantity: 20.
• Jumbo Bulk Bin – Lid: 1200 (L) x 1000 (W) x 20 (H) mm. Quantity: 20.
• Bulk bags: clear plastic trolley bags, 1200 mm x 1400 mm, pack of 50 (100s). Quantity: 2.
• Clear plastic sheeting (roll): 2 m x 30 m, 100 micron, clear. Quantity: 5.
• Pallet shrink wrap – extended core hand roll: 20 micron, 400 m x 45 cm roll. Quantity: 5.
• Delivery fee to iThemba LABS. Quantity: 1.

The pricing schedule lists the following items with quantities: Jumbo Bulk Bin – Solid – 1000 kg (20), Jumbo Bulk Bin – Lid (20), Bulk bags (2), Clear plastic sheeting roll (5), Pallet shrink wrap – extended core hand roll (5), and Delivery fee to iThemba LABS (1). Prices must be quoted per unit and total, inclusive of VAT, and a total amount must be provided.

Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT, and valid for at least 60 days from the closing date. Payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice. If shorter payment terms are offered, a payment guarantee approved by iThemba Labs Finance is required. Alternatively, shorter payment of 7 or 14 days from delivery may be mutually agreed at the time of submitting the pricing proposal. A firm delivery period must be indicated. The pricing schedule must show price per unit and total (incl. VAT) for each line item, plus a total amount.

Registration on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) is compulsory; bids from unregistered bidders are not considered. A CSD Summary Report must be submitted. Bidders must be tax compliant, verified via CSD or a valid tax compliance status PIN. Submit a signed and completed SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure). Submit SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) with a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit if claiming specific goals. The RFQ is subject to the PPPFA, the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022, and the General Conditions of Contract (GCC).
