Eligible bidders must: (1) Be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) at www.csd.gov.za - registration is compulsory; (2) Be tax compliant (verified via Tax Compliance PIN); (3) Not be listed on the Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers; (4) Not have any controlling interest held by persons employed by the state (unless disclosed); (5) Not have relationships with persons employed by the procuring institution (unless disclosed); (6) Submit all mandatory returnable documents (SBD 4 signed and completed, pricing completed, CSD Summary Report); (7) For local South African companies claiming preference points, complete SBD 6.1 with B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
