B-BBEE points (10 points) are awarded to 100% Black owned firms; a B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavits must be submitted or the bidder loses the preference points.
The following municipal declarations must be included: MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and MBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination). Quotations must be signed or stamped with a company stamp.
Quotations must be valid for 60 days from the closing date; prices are evaluated inclusive of VAT (unless the bidder is a non-VAT vendor, in which case prices are evaluated exclusive of VAT). Payment will be made within 30 days after delivery.

submitted a responsive bid. In this case, all bids prices will be evaluated exclusive of
VAT.
