Bids must be submitted on the official tender documents provided by Hantam Municipality, completed in black ink, and placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the tender number and title. Late, incomplete, unsigned, pencil-written, faxed, or electronically submitted bids will be rejected. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) of National Treasury and attach proof of registration (CSD report). Certified copies of ID documents of all shareholders/owners/partners must be submitted. Certified copies of the latest municipal account for the business address and directors' addresses must accompany the bid, along with a lease agreement if applicable. Bids must remain valid for at least 120 days and prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT. Formal tender sealed and clearly marked “NC065/T01/2026: SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND MAINTENANCE OF PRINTERS TO HANTAM MUNICIPALITY FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS.” must be placed in the Municipal tender box at the Head Office of Hantam Municipality at 20 Dr Nelson Mandela Drive, Calvinia, 8190 no later than 12h00 on Friday, 09 October 2026 and will be opened in public immediately. Evaluation uses the 80/20 Preference Point System. Points are allocated as follows: 80 points for price, 10 points for specific goals (locality and Black women-owned or Black men-owned companies), and 10 points for locality. Locality points: within Hantam Municipality borders – 4 points (for 80/20) or 2 points (for 90/10); within Northern Cape but outside Hantam – 10 points (for 80/20) or 5 points (for 90/10). Bidders must provide a locality report explaining local office location and why it is required. Bidders must have prior knowledge and experience of providing the services and provide references. Local Production and Content is not applicable. Bids will be evaluated in terms of the Municipal Finance Management Act and Supply Chain Management regulations. The municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender or highest score.

Prospective bidders must have prior knowledge and experience of providing these services
