Required documents: Signed RFQ document, CSD report (with supplier number and company details), tax status verification PIN and tax registration number, detailed pricing structure (VAT-inclusive, full cost breakdown including disbursements and escalations), valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, valid tax certificate/PIN, COIDA letter of good standing, proposed timeline for execution, company profile (detailing experience in container rental and installation), and 5 client references (not older than 5 years). Failure to submit any required document may result in disqualification. Do not alter the tender document beyond filling in your details and price. Emailed submissions are accepted, but the bidder must ensure complete documents are received by Iziko by the deadline. Late submissions are disqualified.

Evaluation uses the 80/20 Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 system: 80 points for price (lowest acceptable tender scores highest), 20 points for specific goals. Specific goals: B-BBEE ownership (50%+ black ownership = 20 points; <50% = 10 points; 0% = 0 points). Proof required: B-BBEE certificate, CSD report, company registration, and ID documentation. Failure to submit proof for specific goals means no points are awarded. Disqualification risks: Bidder or directors listed in Register of Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers; incomplete or incorrect bid documents; non-compliant tax status; late submission; alterations to tender document beyond filling details/price. Iziko reserves the right to verify claims and disqualify bids with fraudulent or unsupported information.

Supply and install 4 containers for a 24-month rental period at Klein Drakenstein Paarl, Schuurmansfontein Road (Iziko Mandela Prison House). Monthly rental rate required. Cancellation notice period: 2 months. Container specifications: 1x tuck shop container (sliding doors, small access point for adverse weather, water and electricity access with tap, basin, and plug points). 3x office containers (2 with hand basin and tap, water supply connections). All containers: approximately 6m x 3m, air conditioning, distribution board (DB), internal lighting, minimum 2 electrical plug points, insulated, external junction points for power connection, doors and windows, burglar bars. Pricing must include delivery to site and full installation/setup (electrical connection). Bidder must provide provision for an electrician (R20,000) and plumber (R20,000) to secure power and water sources on-site (subject to Iziko Director discretion). Bidder must provide a representative’s name and contact number for service coordination.

Pricing must include all applicable costs (VAT, disbursements, escalations). Quotes must be valid for 90 days from the closing date. Payment is based on deliverables/goods received and satisfactory work completion. Invoices must be approved by the project manager. A formal detailed quotation is required; no cost variations are allowed post-award. Payment terms: On delivery and approval of invoices.

Mandatory: CSD registration (supplier number and company details), tax status verification PIN and tax registration number, valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, valid tax certificate/PIN, COIDA letter of good standing. Bidder must complete SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form). Disqualification risks: Bidder or directors listed in Register of Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers; non-compliant tax status; incomplete/incorrect bid documents; late submission; alterations to tender document beyond filling details/price; failure to disclose conflicts of interest or relationships with state employees. Joint ventures/consortia must disclose relationships and comply with competition regulations. Bidders must certify that they have not engaged in collusive bidding or corrupt practices.
