• Dimensions: Diameter 2,420 mm, Height 2,550 mm.
• Lid: 480 mm clip-on.
• Fittings: 40 mm female water fitting for inlet, overflow, and outlet.
• Material: Best quality virgin LLDPE, UV-stabilised outer layer, BPA-free food-grade inner layer, black inner layer to prevent algae growth.

• Scope of work:

• Supply and installation of the new tank.
• Removal and disposal of the existing tank.
• Installation of inlet/outlet/overflow piping, isolation valves, tank connectors, and fittings.
• Connection to the existing plumbing system.
• Testing for leaks and proper operation.
• Cleaning of the site and disposal of waste material.
• Commissioning and handover.

• Pricing must be quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and VAT-inclusive if the supplier is VAT-registered.
• Non-VAT-registered suppliers must not charge VAT; doing so will result in automatic disqualification.
• Complete the cost breakdown table in the RFQ document (Annex E). Incomplete pricing will lead to disqualification.
• No price changes will be accepted after the official Award Letter or Purchase Order (PO) is issued.

• Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA): Submit a valid letter of good standing (not older than 12 months) covering plumbing, construction, water tank installation, and related services.
• Plumbing compliance: Submit a valid copy of the plumber’s Plumbing Certificate of Compliance (CoC) card/certificate. The plumber must be employed by the bidding company.
• Preferential Procurement: Points claimed for Specific Goals will be verified through CSD.
