Mandatory requirements: Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) by the closing date; Tax compliance (TCS PIN or CSD number); No directors/members/owners employed by the state (or immediate family); Attendance and signing of the compulsory briefing session register; Submission of all required documentation (CSD, TCS, B-BBEE, SBD forms); No history of tender defaulters or restricted suppliers status. Preferential points: B-BBEE Level 1-4 (higher points for 51%+ black ownership, women, youth, or disability ownership); Geographical location in Zululand District Municipality (verifiable via CSD). Disqualification risks: Late or incorrectly formatted submissions; Missing or incomplete documentation; False or outdated CSD/TCS/B-BBEE information; Failure to attend or sign the briefing session register; Collusion, fraud, or conflicts of interest (as declared in SBD 4). Items include: Recover Sofa (Euphoria Avocado, 2 Seaters x3), Roman Blinds (Flores Neutral x2), Tub Chairs (x4), Dining Room Curtains (x1), New Dining Chairs (x8), Kitchen Roman Blinds (x2), Main Bedroom Curtains (Slumber Cocoa x1), Scatter Cushions (various sizes, feather inner), Bed Runners (King size), Back Rails and Voiles (measurements provided on-site), Dining Tables (x1), Linen (Oxford Duvet Covers, Pillow Cases, Fitted/Flat Sheets in Single/King sizes), Recover Existing Dining Chair Seats (x8), New Dining Chairs (Set of 2 or 1), and Commissioning/Installation. All delivery costs must be included in the bid price. Firm prices only; non-firm prices will not be considered.

Submit a pricing schedule (SBD 3.1) with firm prices (excl. VAT) for each item, including quantities, unit prices, and total prices. VAT (15%) must be added to the subtotal. Grand total must be in RSA currency with all applicable taxes included. Offer must remain valid for 90 days from the closing date. Delivery basis: delivered and unloaded at the specified site, with all risks and charges borne by the supplier until receipt is confirmed. Pricing must be firm; non-firm prices (e.g., subject to exchange rate variations) will not be considered.

Foreign suppliers: Complete the foreign supplier questionnaire if applicable. Disclosure: Submit SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) forms. Proof of authority to sign the bid must be provided (e.g., company resolution). No bids will be considered from persons in the service of the state, companies with directors who are persons in the service of the state, or close corporations with members who are persons in the service of the state.
