Once-off maintenance and repair of fire extinguishers and hose reels

Submit the bid on the business letterhead. Ensure all official forms (SBD 1, 3.1, 4, 6.1) are completed and signed; do not re-type these forms. Submit via email to [email protected] by the closing date and time. Late submissions will be disqualified.

The tender follows an 80/20 preference point system. 80 points are allocated for price and 20 points for specific goals: 10 points for youth-owned enterprises, 5 points for enterprises owned by people with disabilities, and 5 points for enterprises owned by black women. Failure to submit supporting documentation for specific goals will result in zero points for those categories.

The scope includes: 1) Maintenance and repair of 34 fire extinguishers (4.5kg); 2) Maintenance and repair of 2 fire extinguishers (5kg); 3) Maintenance and repair of 5 hose reels. Requirements include checking pressure gauges, refilling if necessary, repairing defects, and applying service date stickers.

Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT, and valid for 90 days from the closing date. All delivery costs must be included in the quoted price.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide a CSD number. Required documentation includes a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD report, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, copies of IDs, and CIPC registration documents. Proof of authority (e.g., company resolution) is required for the signatory.
