Mandatory returnable documents: 1) Original valid Tax Clearance Certificate or valid SARS PIN; 2) Certified/original/valid B-BBEE certificate or compliant sworn affidavit; 3) Municipal rates and taxes statement (not older than 90 days in arrears); 4) Signed Declaration of Interest form (MBD 4); 5) Declaration of Bidder’s past Supply Chain Management practices (MBD 8); 6) Certificate of Independent Proposal Determination (MBD 9); 7) Proof of CSD registration or MAAA Supplier Number; 8) Preference Points Claim Form (MBD 6.1); 9) Company registration documents with ID copies of directors/shareholders. All MBD forms must be fully completed and signed. Submit a copy of a valid lease agreement or municipal account statement not older than 3 months. Brand names must be specified where required. Joint Venture Agreements, if applicable, must be properly signed by all parties. Quotations must be valid for 60 days from the closing date.

Evaluation will use the 80/20 point scoring system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals (B-BBEE compliance). Mandatory compliance requirements: 1) Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); 2) Minimum CIDB grading of 1EP; 3) Not in the service of the state; 4) Not blacklisted by National Treasury; 5) Submission of all mandatory documents; 6) Compliance with POPIA consent requirements; 7) Meeting technical specifications (e.g., geyser rated at 600kPa, boilers with safety features). Failure to submit required documentation will result in disqualification. Preference points will be awarded based on B-BBEE status (EME, QSE, or 51%+ black-owned).

Scope: Supply, delivery, and commissioning of solar and electrical powered geysers and hot water boilers at Ennerdale Depot. Solar geyser requirements: Must include a Dual-Purpose Timer for Thermosyphon Solar Systems & Electric Geysers. High-Pressure Solar geyser must be rated at 600kPa. Work includes electric wiring of the geyser and installation/replacement of existing circuit breakers for the new geyser. Boiler requirements: Suitable for heavy-duty commercial use, supplied with all necessary accessories. Installation type: wall-mounted with direct mains connection for water supply. Body: stainless steel; internal tank: food-grade stainless steel. Features: adjustable thermostat (70°C–100°C), dry boil protection, overheat protection, and auto shut-off. Supply all associated fittings. Quantities: 2x 200L High Pressure Geyser, 4x 100L High Pressure Geyser, 3x Commercial Water Boiler (10L), 2x Commercial Water Boiler (20L), 3x Circuit Breakers, 1x Health & Safety File, 1x PIRB COC. All work must carry a minimum 12-month guarantee for installation and hardware (must be reflected in the quotation). Work will be tested for functionality and quality before payment approval.

Total quotation value must be inclusive of all applicable taxes (VAT, PAYE, income tax, UIF, skills development levies). Firm prices only; non-firm prices (e.g., subject to exchange rate variations) will not be considered. Offer validity period: 60 days from closing date. No pre-payment will be made. Delivery costs must be included in the bid price for delivery at the prescribed destination. Pricing schedule must be submitted in the required format (MBD 3.1).

Mandatory: 1) Valid CIDB Certificate (minimum grading 1EP); 2) Reference letter (not older than 1 year) and completion certificate (signed by client, not service provider); 3) Detailed technical data sheet for quoted products; 4) Proof of CSD registration; 5) Valid B-BBEE certificate or compliant sworn affidavit; 6) Municipal rates and taxes statement (not older than 90 days in arrears); 7) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN; 8) Signed MBD forms (4, 6.1, 8, 9); 9) Company registration documents with director/shareholder ID copies; 10) Valid lease agreement or municipal account statement (not older than 3 months). Additional: Service providers must be registered with CIDB (1EP minimum). No bids from persons in the service of the state or blacklisted by National Treasury.
