Evaluation uses the 80/20 point scoring system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals (B-BBEE compliance). Bidders must be valid South African entities, registered with CSD, hold a current SARS tax clearance and VAT registration, possess a valid B-BBEE certificate or compliant sworn affidavit, have no blacklist status or past procurement violations, not be a person in the service of the state (or have disclosed any relationships), and must provide all required declarations and supporting documents. Failure to submit proof for specific goals will result in zero points for that category.

Scope: Machine and repair filter press rollers at Northern Works Dewatering Plant. All materials must be stainless steel 304L. Deliverables: 5 x 220D actuator rollers, 1 x 270D tensioner roller, 2 x 320D drive rollers, 2 x 320D idler rollers. Quotes must follow the provided template/format and consult the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) issued in the RFQ. Mandatory requirements: Full completion of BoQ/specification, attendance of compulsory site briefing, attachment of datasheets, reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation, and functionality requirements where applicable.

Total quotation value must be inclusive of all applicable taxes (VAT, PAYE, income tax, UIF, skills development levies). Only firm prices will be accepted; non-firm prices (e.g., subject to exchange rate variations) will not be considered. Submit a separate pricing schedule for each delivery point if applicable. All delivery costs must be included in the bid price. Quotations must be valid for 60 days from the closing date.
