Bidders must be a legal entity, partnership, or consortia. At least one company director must be a Professional Architect registered with SACAP. Bidders must be registered on the CSD and have tax matters in order. Bidders must not be listed on the Register of Tender Defaulters or the Treasury's restricted suppliers database. Persons in the service of the state (or entities with such persons as directors, managers, principal shareholders, or stakeholders) are prohibited from being awarded the tender. Bidders must not have abused the employer's supply chain management system or failed to perform on previous contracts. Bidders must submit at least three (3) project references for similar work. Failure to complete the required forms (e.g., SBD 4, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, project experience forms) will lead to disqualification.
