Scope: Supply and delivery of a prefabricated 6m (20ft) High Cube shipping container (new or structurally sound one-trip unit) to SANSA Hermanus within 12 weeks of contract award. Container must comply with SANS standards and withstand polar environments (Antarctica). Structural: Reinforced sheet metal roof (load-bearing for snow/ice), Arctic/Antarctic-grade sealant for all joints, two curved roof air vents for airflow. Front End: Replace original container doors with a sealable steel personnel door; add extended steel flanges around the outer front edge for weather-tight connection to an existing wooden structure. Cable Entry: Dedicated 800mm x 500mm cable entry/joint box at the rear with mounting surfaces for cable glands and penetrations. Interior: High-density insulation for all internal walls, ceiling, and flooring (polar-grade); fire-resistant panels for finishing; SANS-compliant electrical installation with ceiling-mounted LED lights and 8 double sockets (4 per side wall); galvanised steel cable trays (300mm wide: 1 across the rear, 2 running along the length); desktop/bench and shelving system at the front end. Exterior: Blue marine-grade paint, SANSA logo on both long sides (weatherproof), corrosion/salt/low-temperature treatment. Compliance: Full certification (structural, electrical, safety) and warranty for workmanship/materials required. Final inspection reports must be provided.

Pricing must include all costs with no unspecified items. Payment is based on deliverables (proven progress) and invoices. Offer must be valid for 30 days from bid closing date. Pricing schedule: Itemised costs for (1) supply of container to specification, (2) materials cost, (3) complete build and finishes, (4) delivery to SANSA Hermanus. Total price must be quoted excl. VAT, with VAT (15%) and total incl. VAT clearly stated. Payment terms: Progress-based and invoice-driven.
