The bid will be evaluated in three phases:
Phase 1: Compliance with Mandatory and Administrative Requirements (Paragraphs 2.5, 2.7, 2.7.1-2.7.5). Only bidders compliant with Phase 1 progress to Phase 2.
Phase 2: Sample Compliance with Specifications and Clinical Acceptability. Only bidders whose samples are found clinically acceptable and to specification progress to Phase 3.

Prices must be firm for the contract duration. Bidders may either:
Fix bid prices for various periods (three-tier prices: year 1, 2, and 3), subject to applicable variations; or

Mandatory CSD registration: All bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) at the time of bid closing. Self-register at www.csd.gov.za.
Tax compliance: Bidders must be tax compliant. Submit SARS PIN or printed TCS certificate. If tax status cannot be verified or is non-compliant on CSD, bidder gets 7 working days to confirm compliance.
