Submission must be one original hard copy in a sealed envelope clearly marked with contract number RFP/27/2025 and description. Deliver to the tender box at building 21 reception, csir, meiring naudé road, brummeria, pretoria (gauteng). NO electronic, fax, email, or late submissions accepted. The tender document must not be retyped; photocopies with original signatures are acceptable. NO alternative offers allowed. Returnable forms include sbd 1 (invitation to bid), sbd 2 (tax compliance), sbd 4 (declaration of interest), sbd 6.1 (Preference points claim), sbd 8 (declaration of past SCM practices), sbd 9 (certificate of independent bid determination), and a completed compulsory enterprise questionnaire. Proof of authority to sign (e.g., Company resolution) must be attached.

- Submit one (1) original of the completed RFP document in a sealed envelope, marked with the RFP number, closing date/time, company name, and return address. - Also submit a flash disk containing a scanned copy of the signed original hardcopy. - Electronic submissions are not allowed; hand-deliver to the tender box at the specified address before the closing date and time. - Mark the envelope: "for attention: supply chain management" and include the RFP number. - Initial each page of the RFP document on the right-hand side at the bottom. - Ensure all required returnable documents are included and fully signed; failure to do so may render the bid non-responsive. - Late bids will not be considered; NO submissions via telegram, telex, email, fax, or similar. - Amended bids may be submitted in a separate envelope marked "amendment to bid" before closing. - Bidders are responsible for all costs incurred in preparing and submitting the bid.

Amended bids may be submitted in an envelope marked "amendment to bid" before closing. All documentation must be in english. Returnable forms include sbd 1 (invitation to bid), sbd 4 (declaration of interest), sbd 6.1 (Preference points claim), sbd 6.2 (Local content declaration), cipc registration, valid tax pin, b-bbee certificate or sworn affidavit, and a valid csd report not older than three months. Failure to submit all completed and signed returnables may render the bid non-responsive and disqualified.
