Submit completed tenders in Tender Box 1 at the main entrance of Theewaterskloof Municipality, 6 Plein Street, Caledon, by 12h00 on the closing date. Tender box is open 24/7; deposit slot opening is 5 x 30 cm. Only hard-copy submissions on issued tender documentation are accepted. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, electronic/emailed, or late tenders will be disqualified. Proof of payment for the non-refundable R 550.00 (VAT inclusive) tender participation fee must accompany the submission. Tenders must be completed in full.

Evaluation follows the 80/20 preference points system under Theewaterskloof Municipality’s SCM Policy and Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022. Scoring: Price (80 points), Specific Goals (20 points: B-BBEE status level contributor (10 points), Locality (10 points)). Total: 100 points. Council may accept a tender in full, partially, or not at all and is not obliged to accept the lowest tender. Municipality reserves the right to scale down the scope to fit the budget.

Scope: Complete infrastructure asset verification from date of appointment to 30 June 2029. Eligibility: Tenderers must satisfy criteria stated in Tender Conditions and Tender Data (Tenderer’s Obligations, Eligibility, 2.1). Clarification meeting attendance is required; representatives must be suitably qualified and experienced to comprehend the work implications.

Non-refundable tender participation fee of R 550.00 (VAT inclusive) is mandatory. Payment must be made via electronic transfer or direct deposit only. Proof of payment must accompany the tender document. Municipality reserves the right to scale down the scope to fit the available budget.

Registration on the Centralized Supplier Database (CSD) is mandatory. Register at www.csd.gov.za. B-BBEE status level contributor earns 10 preference points under evaluation criteria.
