Maintenance services for TRANSNET buildings, wet, electrical & mechanical assets (beaufort west, 300km radius)

Scope: Provision of preventative, corrective, emergency, and ad-hoc maintenance services for Transnet assets (buildings, wet services, electrical, and mechanical) in Beaufort West and surrounding areas within a 300km radius of Beaufort West Train Station. Services are required on an 'as and when needed' basis for a 36-month period.

Mandatory Requirements:

• CIDB Grade 6GB.
• Trade test certificate for Plumbing Artisan.
• Trade test certificate for Electrician Artisan.
• Refrigeration and/or Air-conditioning Artisan certificate.
• Proof of registration as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour (can be subcontracted).

Note: Failure to submit all mandatory requirements will result in disqualification.

Proof of experience must be submitted on client letterhead in the form of an award letter, reference letter, or contract, including client contact details, project title, and description of works.

Quality Plan Requirements:

• 0 points: No quality plan submitted.
• 3 points: Document includes 1-3 key elements (e.g., Quality Policy, Quality Manual, Organizational Structure).
• 6 points: Document includes 4 key elements.
• 9 points: Document includes 5 key elements (e.g., Internal Process, Continuous Improvement).
• 12 points: Document includes all 6 key elements (e.g., Document Control, Applicable Standards).
• 15 points: ISO 9001 accredited.

Maximum possible technical score: 100 points. Minimum threshold for qualification: 70/100 (70%).
